In addition to our usual discussions, announcements and socializing, Tim will lecture/present on:
"Identifying the local native plants of the San Gabriel Mountains. Sample chia seeds, elderberries, and other native foods as we discuss the various medicinal, spiritual, and practical uses of native plants as they have been used in Southern California for thousands of years.
*Special attention will be given to plants commonly encountered while canyoneering and their uses, such as for medicine and rope-making."
