In which outdoor skills or subjects are you most proficient?

I don't think I'd say I'm "proficient" in any outdoors skills. I have basic camping and hiking skills. I'm joining in order for my two boys and I to learn more and acquire new skills.

Which outdoor skills or subjects would you most like to learn or improve?

Pretty much all of it: shelter, fire, food, water, medical treatment, etc.

How far would you be willing to travel for a bushcraft event?

I guess it depends on when the event is, but in general probably about 30 minutes outside the Triangle area but could do occasional trips of perhaps up to a few hours.

Introduction

I've got two boys who I homeschool, and I'm interested in learning outdoor/survival skills with them as part of their (and my) education and father-son bonding.
