"UpBase" and "Manipulating CSS with physical inputs"
Details
We have two interesting talks from Upstatement this month. Hope to see you there!
Upstatement's in-house prototyping library, UpBase, and how it's evolved to 1.0:
http://upbase.upstatement.com/
We've been refining this for the last five years or so, and it's gone through a number of iterations. It's a system of simple functions and helpers for quickly building layouts and interfaces. We 'll talk about how we got here, how we use it, and where it might go next.
Manipulating CSS with physical inputs
We've been experimenting with generative design systems and manipulating site design and aesthetics based on physical inputs. We'll go through how we built the hardware and what we might be able to do with it in the future!
There will be drinks and pizza courtesy of Upstatement (http://upstatement.com/). Thank you!
Gathering and networking at 6, talks start at 6:45.
