The summer Shakespeare in the Park season is upon us. If you've never been to one of these free plays, you are missing one of Seattle's best kept secrets!
We'll meet at Luther Burbank Park at 5:00 and begin the loop of the Island at 5:15. The pace is moderate. The route has lots of fun rolling hills. We will stay together / regroup often. Once back at the park we can relax on the grassy hill over a picnic supper and what the play.
What to bring: Blanket to sit on, your supper and maybe some extra snacks to share around, a few dollars to donate to the Shakespeare company if you like.
Showers will cancel this ride.
Unless you're a British Lit scholar, I always recommend people read a synopsis of the play before coming. It makes it much more enjoyable if you are familiar with the play. Here's a great website for that.
