How did you hear about the group?

From the other local CFI meetup groups. I have returned to this group for the time being.

What kinds of activities would you like to see this kind of group do?

What does being an atheist/agnostic/etc mean to you?

How long have you been a non-believer?

I stopped believing in the Biblical so-called god in 2010 and in 2011 I concluded well beyond a reasonable doubt that no kind of god exists. The latter was due to me reading something stated by Steven Hawking. That view was later reinforced by me reading Hawking's book called "The Grand Design". I no longer believe that what is commonly called a deistic god meets the definition of the word "god" since such a so-called deistic 'god' (as viewed in the post-Enlightenment age) does not care if it is receives worship.

I am a former lay minister/deacon, a former (except on paper) one of Jehovah's Witnesses, & a former Christian who is now a strong atheist, a philosophical naturalist, & a secular humanist. However I am also what I call a Humanistic Quasi-Christian.
