Welcome, Secular Parents of Greater Portland!

This is a meetup for parents who are raising their children without religion, who love reason as well as art, and who are looking for a community where they can find fun, support, and great company for themselves and their children.

Together, we join forces to develop and support secular humanistic values in our families. We get the benefits of church without the dogma.

Our volunteers have developed:
Rational Sunday School - A class on ethics, science, and humanities for kids ages 4-10 every two weeks
Teen and Tweens Group - With discussion oriented instruction with other fun activities.

We also organize playgroups & play dates for younger children, and a conversation group for secular parents. Please join us in planting the seeds of reason, building the strength of knowledge, and harvesting the love of this life.
