1) WHAT IS JAZZERCISE?
Jazzercise is a 60-minute total body workout that takes moves from hip-hop, yoga, Pilates, jazz dance, and kickboxing. Every class includes a gentle warm up, 30-minute aerobic workout, muscle toning and strengthening segment with weights, and a stretch finale. With fresh moves, new music, and both high and low impact instruction, it is the perfect combination of cardio, strength-training, and stretching for adults of all ages and fitness levels! 3) IS JAZZERCISE FOR BEGINNERS OR PEOPLE WHO WORK OUT REGULARLY?
Jazzercise is for anyone, men and women, of all shapes, sizes and fitness levels! It is a workout that you can take at your own pace. We show high and low impact moves during each routine. Beginners are encouraged to start slow by following the low impact options (i.e. no jumping, taking some moves half-time) and can gradually work on increasing their intensity. At the same time, even hardcore cardio-addicts will get a vigorous aerobic workout by following the high impact instruction. Most Jazzercisers alternate between high and low impact as needed. The most important thing is to listen to your body!
4) DO I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO DANCE?
No. The moves are simple enough for everyone to follow. You don’t have to have any dance experience so don’t worry if you miss a step or two.
5) IS THERE A COST?
