Welcome! This group is my forty five dollar experiment (who knew you had to pay to create a group!) to see if I am truly alone in Chester County Pennsylvania or if there are other folks who think our government is out of control, both parties are at fault, and something needs to be done.
I'm not an activist. My involvement in politics before Sept 2008 was going to the voting booth and then complaining in my living room. Now I actually read the bills our so called “law makers” can’t be bothered to read (But they vote on them). I object with my phone calls, faxes and emails along with millions of other citizens and I’m consistently ignored.
I’ve come to the conclusion that the politicians of this country do not care what the people think. They cast their votes to get reelected and line their pockets. They think they are above the law. They take care of their friends who put up millions of dollars to get them elected. They bend the truth or flat out lie to suit their agenda. They can’t be trusted and some of their recent actions border on Treason.
I went to a local tea party only to find the folks there seem to be part of the Republican Party. I don’t think the answer to our problems is to support a candidate because of the letter after their name. Those letters don’t matter anymore, values and principals are what matters to me.
I don’t know what to do next. I’m here, with my pitchfork, ready to march on Washington and I will on July 4th but I want to see if there are folks like me, right here in my own back yard who’d like to meet up and put our collective minds together. If this is you, please join.
I hope to find that there are many folks around here searching for “like minded” individuals
