What we’re about
The Portland Chess Association offers a choice on how players in Portland play chess.
Casual chess is open every Sunday for anyone. All ages and all level of play are welcome. This is at the Lucky Lab in Portland.
We also promote competitive chess with rated USCF tournaments. You must be a member of the USCF - you can join online at the time of the tournament (bring a credit card for this). The tournaments are open to all ages and are at the Lucky Lab in SE Portland.
The Lucky Lab allows all ages to enjoy their restaurant until 9pm, adults only til 10pm. Food and beverages are available for purchase.
The organizers of this group are open to suggestions to keep this group vital and growing. Hope to see you soon at one of our events.
