About the Chicago Field Blogging Workshops:

Head out with us to explore Chicago while learning some great tactics to better blogging. Our Summer Field Blogging Series is open to bloggers at all levels and is a great way to ask questions and network with other area bloggers. Purchase a season pass and save!

We recommend you have a WordPress Blog ready for each session (Either WordPress.com or a self-hosted version).  If you already have an established blog, you’re welcome to incorporate our topic ideas into your existing blog or you might want to create a free blog on WordPress.com to just use for the series.   At the end of the summer, we will hold a group sharing session to showcase our summer blogs and to again spark some great ideas.  (Details to come later in the summer on this).

Recommended Items to bring:

- A Reporter’s Notebook
- A Smartphone (For a microphone/camera phone)
- A Camera (if not using smartphone)
- A pen.
- A little spending cash

I have tried to schedule all events within the city where public transportation is available and that had either no cost or low cost to enter.  If there’s expected costs, I will try to communicate that before we go.  All classes are on a first-come, first serve basis – Season Pass holders have guaranteed entry.
