Someone had to do it!

Yes, someone was gullible enough biggrin to step up as organizer. So here I am.

No, I didn't want this group to close. Many of you are quite right that finding someone to attend a classical music event is not very easy.

There is so much to the classical music scene in Chicago, and much beyond classical. I noticed some things from the past for the Lyric and other places as well. There are other classical programs besides the CSO's. There are even lectures/presentations on music theory & composers (this is probably for the more serious student, but you never know what you'll learn).

Ideas, of course, are always welcome. I'm in the middle of a move over the next couple of months, so please bear with me. Take a look at the CSO's schedule and see if there's anything that would interest you, let me know.

I'm uncertain as to how tickets were handled in the past-be nice if everyone could sit together, but how to arrange that(?). If anyone knows, please give me a head's up.

I look forward to meeting each of you as time goes by.
