World Usability Day Mini-Conference & Happy Hour

Details
World Usability Day (WUD) is coming up on November 14th, and we’re celebrating with an event co-organized with our friends at Centralis! This mini-conference/happy hour will be focused around the theme of this year’s WUD: “Healthcare: Collaborating For Better Systems”.
We’ll ease into things at 6pm with some time to relax and mingle, then officially kick off the evening at 6:30 with a few short talks by some ladies who are UX experts working in the healthcare domain. From there, we’ll jump into Q&A and informal discussion of any related experiences or challenges our audience members wish to share. We’ll wrap up with some more time to network and enjoy the refreshments!
Speakers:
· Amy Willis, Director of UX & Visual Design, Pathfinder Software
· Joi L. Roberts, Senior UX Designer, Walgreens
This event is co-ed and open to everyone, not just ChiDUXXers! If you would like to attend but do not wish to join ChiDUXX, you can sign up here: https://www.eventbrite.com/event/8997129657
We’re looking forward to seeing you all there!

About World Usability Day
From worldusabilityday.org (http://worldusabilityday.org/):
“World Usability Day is a single day of events occurring around the world that brings together communities of professional, industrial, educational, citizen, and government groups for our common objective: to ensure that the services and products important to life are easier to access and simpler to use.
It is about celebration and education – celebrating the strides we have made in creating usable products and educating the masses about how usability impacts our daily lives.
It is about making our world work better. It is about reaching out to the common citizen and spreading the message: Human error is a misnomer - we don’t have to put up with products and services that don’t work well.”
