Python Game Workshop -- Getting Started with Python and Pygame

Ready to write a game, but unsure of where to start?  In this CEGD meetup, we will build a simple 2D sprite based game from the ground up, beginning with the overview, including the game pitch session and completing with a walk through of basic Python and Pygame code.

This workshop will use Python 3.3 and Pygame 1.9.2

Everyone please bring your own, laptop, there are a few computers at the event, so they will be filled soon, so first come first served. With a laptop you are guaranteed a system to use.

Direct links are up on thecegd.org site under "resources" (tab at the top). These are exact duplicates of the files being used to generate the course material.

What should we install for Win64 bit machines?

Also, don't forget to test your installation with the Test Code located: http://www.thecegd.or... if you run it and see anything in the interpreter other than a message that pygame is working; your installation is not working.
