Thanks for the feedback, everyone-- If you'd like to continue the conversation, don't hesitate to give me a shout, or suggest future content-related drupal meetup topics. I'll be glad to talk again.

Good intro to content management, especially as Drupal allows you to focus on this and develop the visual presentation of the data later.

At first I was wondering when Stephen was ever going to talk about Drupal--I am very new to Drupal--then the blocks of information he was laying out began to take on a structure and it all came together. --thanks, Stephen

It's spring break at CSU this week, so there will be plenty of parking available around campus tomorrow.
Once again, we'll be in Rhodes Tower (tallest building with the green CSU at the top) on the 11th floor. Here's a campus map to help you find us.

Good article about the need to properly study your data before putting it into a CMS.

So, we had some interest in a very practical case study in solving a communications problem with Drupal. I will talk about my current project--a measurement application--the process of identifying content types, and the kind of user experience thinking that goes into building a Drupal site. If there are any particular questions you'd like me to address, post them here. It won't be servers and networks, but practical site building. No Drush...'cause I'm not a command line kinda guy...
