Architectural Design Considerations to Improve Application Performance

Abstract:

The popular saying “A stich in time saves nine” holds true for the software development lifecycle, especially in the current Internet age, where the response time of the applications matter the most to a company’s top line.  As applications go through their lifecycle, catching architecture and design flaws early not only help save significant amount of time in MTTR, but also improve the TTM.

In this presentation, we will discuss 5 architectural designs to keep in mind as the developers build their applications. Using the examples that we have observed in our field, we would use live data points to highlight these scenarios.

Is there a book which represents the material that was discussed here that I could read about this?

I'm reading above that there are "examples that you guys have observed"... Where are they? Are they on places like SourceForge or GitHub? Could you guys drag me some links or tell me something that would enable me to search for them?
