Mini Maker Faire (show your projects)

Cleveland Public Library and Ingenuity are partnering on a Mini Maker Faire on Saturday, April 13th. We'll be there showing off our work like we did at Ingenuity in September. It's a great opportunity to introduce ourselves to the public.

http://makerfairecleveland.com/

Here's a publicly editable Google Doc where you can add yourself as one of the people showing work. Feel free to fill in all the time you'd be available and let me worry about cutting it down to make it all fit. Also make notes about what your technology requirements are. Screens will be provided.

I went to the wrong library :(

I didn't realize that was at the downtown location.

At least I'll be able to see everyone again in a few days at the monthly meeting. I just can't believe I didn't realize it was the downtown library and not the Cleveland heights one.

Also, here's a listing of all the Makers that are going to be there. CGD's booth is on the second floor. http://makerfairecleveland.com/categorymeet-the-makers/

Just noticed that there is a talk on Game Design scheduled for 2 PM at the Maker Faire. Here are the details... 2:00 p.m. So, You Want to Be a Game Designer?
Jared Bendis specializes in photography, virtual reality and computer graphics and serves as the Creative New Media Officer for Case’s Kelvin Smith Library. His presentation explores the philosophical design considerations in the creation of games and interactive media and explores the larger question…what is a game?

Might bring both of my boys for this. Ingenuity Fest was awesome, can't wait!
