Workshop Workshop (& Seminar Seminar)

Details
Do you have ideas? Thoughts? Synaptic impulses? And want to talk about them? To other people? Do you overuse serial question fragments?
Public speaking is widely feared, and also widely cited as more feared by Americans than death. But! It's a useful skill to have and not be afraid of. Especially if you'd like to impart on others the aforementioned ideas, thoughts, and synaptic whatevers.
This workshop will be about leading workshops. To the extent that it is a seminar, it will be about giving seminars. There will be a few specific topics we hit:
•slide decks and some nouns and verbs about them
•speaking in general
•extemporaneous speaking
•posttemporaneous speaking (that might not be a word)
•some intensive workshopping
I am not going to lie. It is possible/probable that parts of this workshop will make some people uncomfortable, but that is sort of the goal- to expose them to this stuff enough that they become comfortable.
Specific activities that we might do:
•two-truths-and-a-lie about randomly assigned wikipedia topics
•small group slide deck building exercise
•unrehearsed presentations about topics TBD (with discussion and interruptions as necessary)
•Sam randomly delegating other people to lead the workshop for a bit
The details will depend on how many people are interested in attending.
Ok so, leave comments or something so I know who's interested and then we can talk about a time when I can drive down to Cleveland.
