Need to manage containers at scale? Docker Swarm is a Docker-native clustering system that does just that, bringing the experience of a single Docker daemon to a whole cluster of machines, aggregating and managing resources for efficient container scheduling and orchestration.

In this talk, Docker software engineer (and self-described Guild Wars addict) Alexandre Beslic will walk you through all Swarm’s features, explaining key differences between it and other clustering systems, such as Apache Mesos or Kubernetes, as well as key concepts of cluster scheduling, using strategies and constraints. Alexandre will also cover interactions between Swarm (clustering), Docker Machine (Docker machine creation) and Docker Compose (define and deploy a software stack using a declarative approach), all with demos showing Swarm in action.
