Great things can happen when small groups of focused teams get together to learn. Thats what the Code Lounge is all about - we seek to get people to lend their lounges for at least six hours on a weekend (or other public holiday) to allow like minded developers to congregate and learn. Individual cells can be running concurrently, they can even cover the same topics and we encourage tools like Google Hangouts or Skype to allow others to participate. Its cosy. Its fun. Its an environment where people want to learn, want to change and want to get better. If that sounds like you, welcome to the Code Lounge.
Want to run a code lounge? Just suggest a topic and a day to run it on - it can clash with other topics no problem, code lounges are small and seeing many of them run at the same time is great! All you have to do is suggest the topic, and if you have a location let us know how many people it will hold. If you don't have a location, let us know the topic anyway, and anyone else could come along and say they have a location and a date for it.
You can run the same topic many times at different locations if there is interest, if you don't want your location published, email us (Mark or Richard) and when your topic is full, we'll set the location and stop accepting people for your session. Only members of the Code Lounge will be able to see it.
