Hometown: Anthem AZ

First learned the rules at 5. Had chess lessons from a master in grade school, but wasn't serious enough about it for much of it to stick. An older brother made country chess champion, and 7 years later I did too. Played in tournaments in high school, captained our team to county wins. Played for a year or two in college, then didn't have the time to keep it up seriously. I've played casually on and off since, but it is fair to say I'm rusty.
My highest rating was just under 1900 in the USCF. I'd put my current strength more like 1750 though, due to the aforementioned rust...
Iced Americano. Half caff. But plenty of it...
