New Meeting: Chess and Coffee at the Willow House

From: Tom C.
Sent on: Thursday, March 6, 2008 11:37 AM
Announcing a new meeting for The Phoenix Chess and Coffee Meetup!

What: Chess and Coffee at the Willow House

When: Sunday, March 9, 2:00 PM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Who should come: Anyone who likes playing chess (drinking coffee is optional) is welcome!

Meeting Description: The chess meetup usually lasts a couple of hours. If you have a good chess board, please bring it! A lot of people like to bring their chess clocks, too. If you don't have a chess board, you're still welcome to come (technically, only half of the people have to bring boards for everyone to be able to play).

"The willow house was once a cottage in Phoenix before the area became industrialized. It has that old house charm, and the walls are adorned with local artwork. There are many shelves of books, so you can sit back with a cheap cup of coffee and take a break from a busy day. Has all kinds of separate rooms and a neat outside seating area too. The parking lot is small however, and sometimes you will need to park across the street."
