  With a mixture of diverse backgrounds and age ranges, friendly members combined with dynamic and thought provoking conversations, our collective provides a welcomed oasis from your local big coffee and tea chain.

Maybe you are new in town and are looking for a way to familiarize yourself with the area. Or, you've lived here for a while and looking for a way to meet new people. Perhaps, you're looking for a great breakfast group to test the waters of a new place before you introduce it to your friends. Even still, you can be a friendly person that just likes new experiences. Whatever your motivations, if you enjoy meeting new people, experiencing independent coffee and tea house favorites and relish lively conversation, this group could be for you.

Our events are as diverse as our organizers and event organizers. Our members range from young 20s to wise 60s. So join us and come visit someplace new! Expand your view of what's possible with lattes and tea with The Local Coffee and Tea Scene in Los Angeles!

Membership Requirements:

• You MUST be familiar with our RSVP and Attendance Policy located here (The Local Coffee and Tea Scene: Group Policies). Our Green, Yellow and Red system is easily understandable and explained. Your familiarity with this will be assumed once your profile request is reviewed.

• We are a private group to provide the best in membership and social intelligence. Please assess yourself accordingly.

• As we are a social group, you MUST have a valid picture of yourself to join, RSVP and continue membership. If, at any point you do not have a clear photo of yourself, you will be notified by an organizer of your violation. Organizers have the option to remove you from membership. YOUR MAIN GROUP PROFILE PHOTO MUST BE ONE THAT CLEARLY SHOWS YOUR FACE. IF NOT, YOUR MEMBERSHIP WILL BE DECLINED WITH A SUGGESTION TO FIX YOUR PHOTO AND RESUBMIT.

• Membership to this group involves a membership payment of $5.99 per calendar year.
