Good Afternoon C.O.F.F.I.E Members!
Please see below an email from Bill Rembert. There is a 'Career Day' being held at his school on Friday, April 27th. If you are able to showcase your career to the next generation of bright minds, please give him an email at [address removed] no later than April 10th.
Here's information if you're available or know of someone interested in attending the career day at my school. We're in Covington. Thanks!
Veterans Memorial Middle School will host a Career Day on Friday, April 27, 2012 and we need you. Please accept this invitation to come and discuss your profession with the students of VMMS. All participants will be served breakfast and given information from 8:30 A.M. – 9:10A.M. in the media center. Speakers will rotate into four classrooms and give a brief twenty-five minute presentation, which includes questions/answers explaining your career: Why were you interested in this career? How you got started? What are the expectations for your position (education & training)? What is the pay range? What are some of the challenges in your profession? What is your work schedule? Feel free to bring props and/or give a ways. Classroom rotations will begin promptly at 9:10A.M. – 11:10 A.M.
Please help us prepare by confirming in writing whether your schedule will permit you to participate as soon as possible, or no later than Tuesday, April 10, 2012. Any additional questions may be addressed to Dr. Turner. Thank you in advance for your timely response.
