"Complex social problems today outstrip the capacity of any single organization or individual to solve them. We don't need to grow non-profits. We need to grow networks for social change." Alison Fine, co-author of The Networked Nonprofit

The Collaboratory Melbourne is a growing community of smart, passionate people with diverse backgrounds, skills and interests who believe that together, we can build better futures for all.

We meet monthly at Hub Melbourne with special guests from the not-for-profit, government, corporate and community sectors who are leading the way in innovative approaches to addressing our most pressing social and environmental issues. We offer skillshares and workshops that build our capacity to work better together and grow our abilities to do meaningful work that has a positive social and environmental impact.

We are currently developing a model for a community owned social enterprise that works in partnership with local government, business, not-for-profit and community organisations as an accelerator for the development of projects and campaigns tackling local issues.

The Collaboratory Melbourne is an initiative of Doing Something Good. Please join us Doing Something Good on facebook or as @DoingSomeGood on twitter and follow the conversation using twitter hashtag #CollabMelb. You can also sign up for updates on the Doing Something Good website.
