There are tons of groups for singles but not much for couples who want to meet other commited couples for socializing so we decided to start a meet-up just for those couples in the 50's and 60's who like the outdoors and who want to create a sense of community and long term friendship. You don't need to be married but please be a committed couple looking for the friendship of other couples.
Some of the activities we have planned are:
• Day at the beach including bonfire at night
• Day at Lake Hodges – good for picnics, hiking, and they rent boats
• Cruise on a Hornblower yacht on San Diego Bay
• Bowling
• Dinner and Movie
• Amtrak train ride to San Juan Capistrano for lunch
• Padre game
• Coyote bar and grill for dinner and dancing outside around the firepits
• Wine tasting
• Oktoberfest
• July 4th party
• Anthology for dinner and music – great place!!!
• Day on the bay and barbeque at Mission Bay Yacht Club – Bob Smith is a member
• Cruise on the Bahia Belle on Mission Bay
• Admirals Club at Liberty Station
• Day at San Onofre Beach
• Bike ride – many great choices in San Diego
• Pool party
