The New York Composers Meetup Group Pages
Hi everyone,
This group is about people who want to create music and it's open to composers, performers, song writers, lyricists, and others (dancers, film makers, artists) who are eager to connect and exchange ideas. Musical styles include a wide range--rock, pop, folk, orchestral, classical, avant pop, minimal, new age, etc. And, applications include concert, pop, film/video, games, cabaret, theater, etc.
Our first order of business is interactive--getting to know each others music and goals--which is an ongoing process. New members are checking in all the time, and the group is growing rapidly.
A priority is also put upon problem solving--musical, technical, software, hardware, website, recording, and so on.
So, come to a meetup and share your music and ideas with us. It's very casual and fun.
Meetings take place on a monthly basis and are announced a couple weeks in advance.
