Computer Vision is one of the most fascinating and interesting branches of Computer Science. Visual perception corresponds to an important source of information for any autonomous system. Smart agents are getting smarter and more capable of solving complex tasks to unprecedented levels while improving their vision capabilities constantly.
We are witnessing important research and development in different directions of Computer Vision. Key players cannot stop surprising us every year with the amount of high quality publications and very smart adaptations thereof. We envision a community where these are not only discussed but experienced.
We as visionists keep an eye on Medical Image Analysis due to its relevance and connection to many of the areas in Computer Vision. Computer aided diagnosis is often based on medical imagery and intra-operative image acquisition is routine the most part of the healthcare facilities.
