Although I don't go often because it's so expensive, I love Sushi Ota. People from Japan go there right from the airport because comparatively it's inexpensive! Ethnic restaurants filled with people of that ethnicity is always a good sign!
I love sushi, but mainly eat lots of seasonal vegetables with a smattering of meat for flavor. I love pasta with lots of garlic!
