Hello greatest people on the planet!

We at Coreyoke don't handle rejection well, so I thought I'd share this with you, the good people of The Coreyoke MEATup and, perhaps, dissipate the feelings of loneliness, despair and sadness that accompany a notice from Meetup that someone is leaving the meetup group.

When someone decides that they've given up on life and don't want to be cool anymore and leave the Coreyoke Meetup group, I get a message from the meetup system. It's usually a lame reason, or it's simply a stalker who wasn't getting enough attention. But!!! Today's departure takes the cake.

This is from the Meetup notification:
For your convenience, we asked lame ex member why he or she was
leaving the group. This is how lame ex member answered:
I sing jazz

Though it should be, I don't think it was an apology. biggrin

I imagine those Jazz Singing karaoke nights are so fun they border on anarchy.

Well, Mister Al Jolson Jazz Singer man, we here at Coreyoke wish you all the best and hope that you can handle the excitement!

Here's hoping we see some of you tomorrow night. We'll be the ones NOT playing the ii-V-I progressions. We're starting at our regular time of 9:30. Yayayaya!!!

Steedily squeedliy boop ah boolah fo fo fo fo la la blackbird singin in the dead of niddly niddly niyayayayatah.

Corey On!

Corey Hamm

(I promise I won't send any more of these. Really.)
