This was by far the coolest thing I have done since moving back to Seattle a few months ago. Thank you so much to Leo and Kathy for opening their home to all of us. I met so many nice people, and Sheldon had a blast! I hope to see all of you at the walk this Saturday! Can't wait for next year!

I've updated http://pnwpicnic.com with links to picture collections that I'm aware of. If you know of a 2014 PNW picnic photo set that I don't have listed, let me know and I'll add it.

Always great! The best place ever to meet new friends and reunite with old, both canine and human. Adorable little pups again, and a few more tails each year. (Leo's rivals my Cardigans. They came home with tail envy)

We had a great time, too, though there is never enough time to visit long enough with everyone. Dondie and Oliver are happy and tired. Thanks, Leo and Kathy!

I am sad to hear of your Gracie's passing. I hope that she was yours for almost the entire 13 years. Hope that you make it to the picnic!

      1 · July 30

    • Andy C.

Thanks for the good thoughts. We had her for 5 years. She was a "special needs" rescue out of San Francisco through the National Cardigan Rescue Trust. I'm afraid that our feelings are still a bit raw to be going to the picnic this year and seeing all those delightful fur babies. It's the first time in 35+ years that we have been without at least one Pem or Cardi. Maybe next year.

Charlotte Ann, the miniature corgi is going.
