Cornerstone is a private Christ-centered cooperative group designed to offer enrichment classes for Preschool-8th grades homeschooling families.

Our group is looking to acheive enrichment that adds social activities and team-building skills for our children in the grades of K-8th. This will be our 3rd year together!

  We meet at West Ridge Community Church 3 Fridays per month; 845am-1245pm from September through April (2010-11 academic year).  Our mission is to collaborate with other parents, in order to supplement and enhance our children’s education in a God-honoring way.  Our program can only happen with the cooperation and partnership of participating families.

We will have a rotation of classes on Friday Mornings in Elgin  with members taking turns teaching a class, unit study or assisting in one. We are going to cover topics in Science, Art, Music, Drama, Maps, Weather, Missionaries and Challenge activities and a few others. There will be many opportunities for field trips and service projects as well.
