A presentation by Jaime Rae:

We all know that creating an app can take months of hard work. We become intimately involved with our code, design and user interface. We have high hopes for success as we send our apps off to Apple for approval and its ultimate placement on the App Store. We also know that with over 400,000 apps on the App Store and hundreds more being published every month, it takes more then just getting posted to the App Store for users to buy our apps. We can hope to be noticed in some way, but that is as much of a crap shoot as users finding our app and buying it.

Social Media has become a powerful tool for marketing products, but if used incorrectly, it will not only turn off potential customers, but could even be a source of negative feedback about you and your product.

Learn how to:

• Set up Social Media sites, the right way

• Build your network, connecting with people who could be interested in your app

• Learn the natural order of using social media

• How to use your web site/blog as part of your networking

• How to build credibility and expertise

• Learn the number one reason people fail at Social Media Marketing
