Crafting With an Edge is a state of mind. Crafting is not just an activity for people who live in the suburbs and the country. Crafting can be urban, hip, and edgy as well as traditional. In this group, we will make cards and scrapbook pages using rubber stamps, cardstock, designer paper and accessories. Most materials will come from Stampin' Up! but we will also use some stamps and accessories from other companies such as Sideshow Stamps and Stampsmith that tend to have a little more "edge." Also, we will do some other crafts such as: t-shirt alteration similar to those shown in the book Generation T, embroidery, altered pendants, possibly even book making and other crafts at group members' request. All projects will be fun and most will be easy enough to make in a short time!
I believe that everyone has an artist within, and that stamping can make art accessible to everyone. This group is YOURS and suggestions for future projects are welcome.
Please visit my Stampin' Up! website to see some project examples. Also, you can view the SU! catalog on line and ORDER from me 24-7: http://www.craftingwithanedge.stampinup.net![]()
I will be posting examples of materials and what we will make in advance of the classes so you have a chance to see what we will be doing. Most events will take place in Washington Heights, NYC and occasionally we will have events downtown at cafes such as PetalBelle in SoHo.
