3rd Wednesday Stamp Club/Card Club

  • Aug 20, 2014 · 7:00 PM
  • Crafty Neighbor Studios

Join us each month for Stamp Club lead by Stampin' Up Demonstrator Sharon Armstrong.  Sharon is a Founders Circle member of Stampin' Up and has been a rep. in the DFW area for 15 years.  She is one of the top demonstrators for Stampin' Up, and we just love her!

Each month, Sharon will lead us through one or more projects designed to teach us new skills and show us how to use Stampin' Up and other products to their fullest potential.  (For a sample of the projects we have done, please see the photo album under "Stamp Club").

Your first visit is FREE! After that, each participant is required to spend a minimum of $25 in product purchases from the Stampin' Up catalog.  Guests are under no further obligation to participate and may attend as many or as few monthly gatherings as desired. Club members are required to commit to the minimum purchase every month for the duration of the current cycle (based on the number of participants) and will receive "Hostess Benefits" when it is their turn to be hostess.

Meetings take place on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at the home of Cindy Murray, the founder of Crafty Neighbor.  Participants of all skill levels are welcome, but you must RSVP so that Sharon can bring enough supplies for everyone. We have plenty of room for lots of participants (the more participants, the greater the Hostess Rewards)! Our current cycle ended in December 2012, so our new cycle will begin in January and we will draw for new hostesses.

If you are not familiar with Stampin' Up products, they are a catalog-based home demonstrator company that sells some of the highest quality stamps, inks, punches, and paper in the industry. The Crafty Neighbors are huge fans of their products, and we encourage you to join us at our monthly gathering where you can sample the products for yourself and learn new and creative uses for the tools and supplies you already have!

We have a lot of fun together, so we hope you'll join us, even if it's just once in a while!

Apologies to Sharon and Barbara for stealing this, but I felt like I should share it with you guys. At the recent Stampin' Up convention, Sharon was awarded the prestigious Heart of Stampin' Up award due, in part, to this nomination letter. I think you'll agree that everything Barbara says is absolutely true. I am so very thankful that we have had Sharon to demo Stampin' Up for our group for all these years!

I know that Sharon has faced many stresses in her life and has faced adversity
many times and continues to share what she loves.

I knew when she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer 13 years ago ( she was not able to have reconstruction right away due to insurance issues), then about 6 years ago her house burnt down and she lost all her stampin up supplies.

Her husband has not had steady work for a while but they recently moved to Arizona (only a month or so ago) because of a job he got. When she found out she was
moving, leaving her family, grandkids and her stampin up customers she didn't get upset but instead she got right on the task as she always does and worked out a way she could keep stamping and sharing what she loves with
      her customers.

She is doing classes by mail, using u-tube and skyping. Anything stampin up introduces, she finds a way to learn about it. She is on facebook, instagram, she learned and teaches MDS when it came out.

What can I say she is amazing. If there is a way, a new way, she figures how to share what she loves and shares it with all of us, her customers.

Like her name ArmSTRONG, Sharon is one of the strongest women I know. She
has a contagious smile, is always HAPPY and so supportive. She continues to personally grow as a person in order to share her knowledge with others. I am proud to say that I know Sharon Armstrong and I am in her downline.

I'm going to try to make it in August -- you'll have to remind me of the "rules." Will we be making cards? (That's always my preference.) I'm looking forward to it and seeing y'all again!

Yes, most likely cards. :) Since this will be your second visit, you will be required to make a minimum purchase of $25 before tax and shipping.

No worries. My hesitation in becoming a member is that I can't always make it every month . . . But maybe I can free up my schedule of evening meetings a little. We'll see. I'm looking forward to it, Cindy. Thanks!
