I love making things and sharing and learning with other like-minded creative people. I believe a commitment to creative expression is the road to a fulfilling life and provides a great sense of wellbeing.

After I attended many Etsy events in Brooklyn I wanted to build a community in Sydney where creative women from all walks of like could get together to share and learn from each other, enjoy some great conversation and make new friends.

And so Crafty Wench Club was born! It’s a contemporary group that love doing all sorts of arts and crafts in all kinds of mediums.

Our activities take place mainly in the inner west (for now).

Many new friendships have been made since the group was established in May 2011 when we launched with a fundraiser for Japan. We now are over 300 members strong.

If you love:

to be creative but can't find the time or always have something 'more serious' to do then let me help you find the time

doing any craft already and/or just want to learn something new

making new friends who like doing crafts...

Then this is the group for you!

I'm planning a whole heap of activities that include paper and textile crafts so I hope to see you soon!

If you have any questions or suggestions, please don't hesitate to email me.

Now for some basic rules of play with the group:

1. Please note that sometimes if the numbers change dramatically prior to an event, I might have to change the venue at late notice. I will always try to do it at least 2 days prior where possible to avoid any inconvenience. I want to ensure we have the most suitable venues for our activities.

2. It is expected that should you not be able to attend an event that you have RSVP'd YES, that if something pops up and you cannot make it - you will do the courteous thing and change your RSVP ONE DAY PRIOR.
