In the interest of continuing the discussion between meetings, I'm

I was thinking of this thing I read about Carrotmob. You can check out
the site ( http://carrotmob.... ), and I think there is at least one
video on YouTube.

If I remember right, basically some folks went to a store and asked
them, if we guaranteed you x amount of business, would you use the
funds to make your store more green? They found a store that said yes.
They found an organization that checked out the store, made
recommendations as to what could be made more environmentally
friendly. They set a date for the action, sending out emails to
various mailing lists, etc. People came in that day, bought items from
the store. Profits from the day bought in enough to make implement
some of the green recommendations.

We find a store interested in participating. Have the green
organization go over it and make recommendations as to improvements.
Set a date for the action. Mailing lists, etc, great. Also cranes.
Bigger than the ones we made tonight. With information about the date
and action. People who bring in a crane get something. A discount?
Something for free?
