INTRODUCTION TO PANORAMA PHOTOGRAPHY

Please read the instructions for paying class fee below. This will be a class suited towards the beginning to intermediate photographer. I will primarily be focusing (pun intended) on the aspects of camera setup and techniques for getting a series of pictures to be able to assemble into a panorama using Adobe Photoshop, and other panorama-specific apps for both PCs and Macs.

After we meet at Starbucks, we will carpool (the fewer cars, the better) and drive into the Garden of the Gods and take short hikes to some very good panorama locations. The hikes will be short, but some rock scrambling will be required to reach these scenic areas. Please wear appropriate footwear, and long pants are recommended.

WHAT CAMERA EQUIPMENT WILL I NEED?

• DSLR camera with a wide to medium focal length lens (18 to 100 range)

• Sturdy tripod

• Hot-shoe bubble level (recommended, but not required)

This class if 100% refundable in the case of class cancellation, or you cancel by midnight on Thursday, September 11, 2014 MT. There are no refunds after this date unless your spot can be filled.
