Bike Ride celebrating diversity in Miami and supporting immigration reform with a path to citizenship.
Join us in a route passing by Little Havana to Little Haiti. We will stop at an ACLU of Florida Mural “I am here” created by the Dominican artist Ruben Ubiera, inspired by the real stories of Floridians dealing with our harsh immigration policies. Ubiera will be at the location to share details about the interactivity of the mural, and José Machado, one of the people represented in the art piece, will be sharing his immigration story with the riders.
At Little Haiti, we will do a tour to the Little Haiti Cultural Center, and will join some traditional Haitian Cusine (bring cash).
Dress in cultural flair.
