We'd like to know just a little about who you are and what you're looking for. With that in mind, would you please tell us in one or two sentences what you do for a living?

I'm a Web designer/developer with my own firm, Sonnet Media, and an editor for "Dispatches" from Words Without Borders, an online magazine of international literature.

If it's not clear from your first answer, are you already practicing content strategy in your work?

What I think about when I think about the above is how content works, how best to engage readers, how to give meaning and life to both short form and long form content. These things are implicit in my work, and as mentioned, I want to focus on this.

Could you tell us what you're hoping to gain from participation in CSNYC?

Not sure. Hopefully I will open my viewport to possibilities, learn about the professional community of content strategists, and improve my own work and share what I've learned from my own experiences and challenges.

Last question. Any ideas about how you might contribute to this group and/or to the field in general?

I'm interested in doing research in the field (at a client, or applied, level, not academic) and would be interested in working with others on that.

I've come to realize that I've been doing content strategy as part of my work for a while and now want to center my work around it.
