This is to celebrate my second year as organizer BAS&CSA and birthday party with all the people of Meetup..Two years ago this Meetup site with only 100 people on board. My 1st meetup was at the Charred Rib Jan 1st 2010.15 in attendance. Football season was over so most were my home football crowd. Now with thanks to Karl and Dan who gave me the site along with Nancy H, Randy,Richard,SirrDavid, and a lot of great hosts jumping on here to make the group what it is today.Special Thanks to Nancy Z lately for really making the site BOOM!!!!!!
As for (my sailing group)CSA was down to 45 or so then, now we are up to 85, all due to meetup.The 3rd Thursday we usually have a Happy Hour and Dinner someplace around town. Warmer months we do near water locations. In the winter we have our home Pot-Luck learning sessions which are a hit.Can't sail now but good time to meet our skippers hearing about what and where there boats are.
Right now we are accepting applications with $40 for membership to the group.This will cover now till end of April 2013.$40 will get you any sail date that the skippers post for you to go out with them.
