Steve Park has almost 5 years of experience serving in various roles within Jaspersoft. As a Professional Services consultant, Steve traveled to customer sites worldwide to provide training, mentoring, product customizations, SSO integration, troubleshooting, and other consulting services to companies in many industry verticals. Prior to joining Jaspersoft, Steve worked at Wells Fargo and was a Jaspersoft community user. Steve has over 10 years of experience in Java programming, a CISSP security credential, and has worked in software development, QA, technical support, sales, marketing, and training organizations. Steve holds bachelors and masters degrees in Computer Science from Utah State University.
Josh Asbury is the Director of Corporate Sales and is responsible for business strategy execution and leads Liferay's North American sales team. Josh establishes sales goals and processes for Liferay's worldwide offices while also leading the Customer Experience Management team to ensure Liferay's customers are successful.
Josh is known to be a fearless advocate for Liferay and is instrumental in fostering Liferay and other open source technologies as the chosen solutions at previous employers.
As Liferay's Director of Corporate Sales, Josh draws on his experience in deploying enterprise portal strategy, software development and business process analysis to ensure that customers are positioned for success with Liferay. Josh has been with Liferay since 2009. Before joining Liferay, Josh held positions at SDRC, Hillenbrand Industries' Batesville Casket Company division, and his own company. Josh graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a B.S. in Systems Analysis.
Jerry Ferrel has worked in the IT/Software Development field for over 25 years at a number of software development companies in the Legal, Banking, Online Testing, and Database fields. Much of his career has been spent interacting with and developing Websites using Oracle database technology. Previous to his time at Liferay he worked with two other partners to create a startup web-based Bankruptcy business. Jerry joined Liferay in 2012 to use his industry experience to foster the technical aspects of the Sales Process.
Pete Knast has a strong business intelligence and stats background. For 4 years Pete had been with Tibco-Spotfire offering BI / Visualization solutions into strategic accounts in the West. For the past year he has covered Jaspersoft’s Southwestern territory. Pete co-fouded a social media engagement platform called 1yell as well as ran BD as EVP of Sales. Pete originally hailed from the East Coast in Philadelphia - where he earned his Business Degree from Temple University and also is an Eagle Scout and member of the Order of the Arrow.
