Welcome to the CSRA Vegetarian Society! This group is for anyone in the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA), and our neighbors in South Carolina (all are welcome), who doesn't eat meat, or those interested in vegetarianism, and would like to meet other local vegetarians/vegans (or any other names we have for those of us who consume plant-based diets). Come to a local Vegetarian Meetup, discuss living a healthy lifestyle, have delicious meals, share your favorite recipes and make new friends.

Find out more about who we are, our affiliates, and a restaurant/shopping guide we are in the process of creating by clicking on the "About Us" link on the left. Also, please, take a few moments to answer the polls on the left too. You will help us organize the group better, and make it more fun than it already is.

We don't have a permanent schedule of events, but like to have events throughout the CSRA as often as we can. We conduct monthly potlucks, visit area restaurants, volunteer with local organizations, organize lectures on healthy living, have been known to teach the occasional vegan cooking class, and genuinely have a great time doing all of it.

Join us, see what we're about, have a wonderful time making new friends, share ideas and recipes, and know that you're not alone here in the heart of Southern cooking.

If you have any questions or thoughts, please feel free to contact our Augusta contact, Sean Woods, at 706-564-1314 or anagarika667@gmail.com, or our Aiken contact, Lisa Dyches, at 803-641-7448 or lrdyches@hotmail.com. We appreciate your ideas, thoughts, and feedback.

Well, once again, it's time for our monthly potluck. Come bringing a dish that can feed 8-10 people, along with copies of the recipe to share with the others. Potlucks are great ways to get to know other people, try new food, get wonderful recipes, and have a fantastic time. Join us!
