Join us for a presentation on SQLite given by Jay Kreibich.

An Introduction to SQLite: The Most Popular Database in the World

SQLite is a full featured relational database that provides "database in a file" simplicity. The "Lite" in SQLite refers to its small footprint and ease of deployment, not its feature set or capabilities.
Chances are good that you use dozens of SQLite databases every day.

This presentation covers what SQLite is and how it can be used to simplify many database and data management tasks. In addition to being a viable alternative to traditional RDBMS servers, SQLite can also be used in places where traditional database systems dare not tread, such as mobile devices and embedded systems. SQLite can even be used to wrap an SQL engine around external data sources, such as webserver logs. All this, and much more, in a simple, small, easy-to-deploy, and easy-to-use database system.

Jay Kreibich has been using SQLite to solve problems for almost a decade, and is the author of the O'Reilly book "Using SQLite".
