I'm making a conscious effort to expand this to more of my relationships where possible. Not everyone receives touch well - some people are not comfortable with it. For me, it's either an expression of closeness or a way to seek greater closeness.
Generally I don't like to establish "routine" expectations with people. I want touch to be more expressive of where I'm at in my relationships rather than a habit that's taken for granted.
About 10 years ago, it really hit me when I was in a relationship with a significant other that was seriously lacking touch.
Yes- I've found it to be a great place to explore communication about touch.
I think that touch and, more importantly, communication about touch are sold pretty short in our society. I'm interested in meeting people who are exploring both touch and ideas about touch in their lives.
