Where does touch come into your relationships? Only with a significant other? With friends? Or is it pervasive in your way of relating to others?

When it comes to my daughters and husband, hugs, cuddles and snuggles are our way of expressing affection. You can tell someone you care about them but it means that much more with touch.

Someone asks "Are you a hugger?" What's your response?

Sure am! I'd never ever turn down a hug!

When did you realize that touch is important to you? Or has it always been?

After I had my daughters it became very important to me. My family had ruined touch when I was growing up. I felt it was very important that I get over it so my daughters could learn about safe and appropriate touch. I'm really touchy-feely in general whether it be people, odd looking plants, fabrics I've not yet touched, textured walls, buildings, anything that is different to me I will touch it. To me, it's also way to make sure my eyes aren't playing tricks on me.

Have you ever thought about going to a Cuddle Party? Why or why not?

I have gone a few times now and I love them! Bring on the cuddles!!

You mention being new to the US, and being new to Washington. Where are you from originally? Where did you move from before Washington?
