New Meetup: Summer City Beach Strand Zuid

Announcing a new Meetup for The Art, Music And Groovy Day Trips Group!

What: Summer City Beach Strand Zuid

When: July 4,[masked]:00 PM

Where: (A location has not been chosen yet.)

Next few days are still a bit volatile. And you will probably curse my friggin? little ass for putting this event up, but I kinda have this hunch that the weather will be picking up next week, starting around... Wednesday July 1st. We?re looking at 26, 27 degrees Celsius or more. Not a cloud in sight.

Summer is gonna start blazing, and what better way to spend it than on the beach? Now, you may have heard about there being some city beaches in Amsterdam. In fact, one of those beaches is having a festival on July 4th: city beach Blijburg is celebrating its 4th anniversary and does so by making a splash. There is music and other stuff. Presale tickets cost 20 euro. More info:

For some reason, though, I don?t think you give a hoot about *Amsterdam Suburbia Blijburg*. So on the very same day it celebrates its anniversary we are going to another city beach. One that is FREE of charge. I know, I am going out on a limb, also because I am giving info about the *competition*, but indulge me here for a second...

Located between Amsterdam RAI and the Beatrixpark there is a somewhat special city beach. About 2.000 square metres have been transformed into a beach area. Unlike other beaches in the city, it also offers a combination of business, luxury and leisure.

You can have a drink at the Extra Cold Beach Bar or while away your time on 80 beach beds or in various lounge areas. The Party Beach is a beach pavilion of about 700 square metres near the water, completely furnished.

More info:

Let?s meet around 15:00. Maybe we?ll have dinner there, maybe not.
