Announcing a new Meetup for The Cleveland Conversations With God Meetup!

What: CwG Discussion Group

When: December 2,[masked]:00 PM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Meetup Description: The format of the discussion is that we play a small portion of the audio book for the book one from the original conversations with God Trilogy. Depending on the material we'll listen to 5-10 minutes at a time, and then discuss what was listened too.

This format allows for several benefits for everyone attending:

First, and best of all, weather you have the book or not, read the book or not, you can attend a meeting, and instantly be able to participate in the discussion, in fact, having comments from someone new to the material can be a wonderful experience and offer new perspectives to those who have read the material for years.

Second, as I discovered while I just glanced over the first few pages of the first book, there were small little things that I had forgotten about but were very important. Going through the material in this way will allow even the smallest details to be recognized and discussed.

Third, by having an audio book, no one has to be put on the spot to do reading, everyone can focus on the words being spoken.

Fourth, in the event that I have to miss a meeting, my role can be easily filled by another member.

The Audio book actually has the voice of God done by both a male and a female voice. My understanding is depending on the concepts, the different voice reads. The audio book will actually add another layer to the material, by helping to break the mindset of God being a particular gender

The Agenda for the next meetings will be as follows.

1. Quick introduction of members if there are new people

2. Playing of the audio book until a good stopping point

3. discussion of what was listened to

4. Repeat of 2-3 as time allows

I hope to see you all there.

I encourage you to get directions online, and keep in mind the even though Laughingcreek is on Chardon road, the drive way is off of a small side street.

If you type the address into Google maps you will see a small road that cuts a corner from Chardon road to Richmond Rd. The driveway for the center is off of this small side street. Or click here to view the map

Also the front door is always locked, there is an intercom to the right of the door on the wall. Just ring the bell and they will open the door for you. Right before the meeting there is usually a greeter at the door that will just open it when they see someone coming.
