What we’re about
WHO IS INVITED TO PARTICIPATE:
Both native speakers and all those who master the English and/or Spanish language, and wish to have a practice through conversation and the activities proposed. All this in an atmosphere of cordiality and respect where any clarification or correction by others will be greatly appreciated. You can develop two basic skills, speaking and understanding, leaving grammar, writing and reading to one´s personal study. This is neither a language school, nor is tutoring. The main objetive of the activity is linguistic, but no doubt that the social component is important because it lets us meet and maybe make friends with new people.
THE ACTIVITY:
This is a guided conversation group conducted by a licensed spanish teacher. We dedícate 45 minutes to spanish and 45 minutes to english each time. It´s recommended to have at least level A2 to make the most of this group. The activity will be held on TUESDAYS: Starting at 1:00 in Valencia, Cherry Blossom Valencia, Calle Moratín, 15. PLEASE CHECK THE LOCATION ALWAYS in case we change it. Cost 3 euros per person.
THE ORGANIZER:
María Hidalgo Mateos, Law Degree and Diploma in Business Administration (ICADE), is currently teaching spanish as a foreign language (qualified spanish teacher from Hispania -certified by Instituto Cervantes-). English Level: B-2. “After many years living in Valencia, I noticed the number of foreigners, specially English-speaking, passing through the city. Why not help each other, Spaniards and foreigners, with the learning process and language practice in an enjoyable and interesting manner?".
