This Salsa/Combo and Cha cha cha class is an action-packed hour of footwork AND partnering.
Beginning on November 2nd Dando Mambo Dance Company will be teaching a 4 week course on Cha-Cha-Cha. Classes will focus on teaching proper dance technique as well as the social and musical aspects of Cha-Cha-Cha. Students will have the opportunity to learn about timing and musicality and transferring these to body movements. No partner required!

WHAT IS CHA-CHA-CHA?
Cha-cha-cha is the name of a Latin American dance of Cuban origin. Cha-Cha-Cha is a combination of the Rumba and the Mambo. Some call it the "triple Mambo". This rhythm was developed from the danzón by a syncopation of the fourth beat. The name is derived from the rhythm of the güiro (scraper) and the shuffling of the dancers' feet.
