Indoor Rock Climbing

= Update 12/16/2012 =

Ok, we're going to start off the New Year by climbing to new heights - literally.  Join your fellow DC Social Adventurers either by signing up for a class or open climb.

If you're a beginner and need to sign up for the class, then the cost is $30.

If you don't need a class, then it's just $18 for the day pass and $11 for all equipment rental.

If you're going as a couple or small group, I found a $50 Google Discount for $25.

A few people at the Adventure Park meetup mentioned going rock climbing. Maybe either at Sport Rock or Earth Treks?

We probably need t-shirts or ways for us to identify each other.

I was there, but only met up with Corbin. Neither he or I had been to one of the group events before. By chance, we were at the desk at the same time asking where the group was and they didn't know anything. I asked a few groups of people and Corbin asked the beginner class to no avail, so we climbed with some other people and still had a good time . . . Sorry we missed you Marco . . . Did anyone else go?

The link to the beginner class wouldn't load - when I went to the site to search for it, the 2:00 didn't show up, so I guess it is full now :( Probably better anyway since I am a bit banged up already. I'd love to go climbing though sometime, so please plan another event! Or if anyone is interested in going separately, please contact me!

Is there a deadline to sign up on the site? I want to do this, but I am attempting to go skiing tomorrow and I don't know if my body will me mad at me on Sunday! I don't want to pay if I end up being too sore to climb!
